Alongside the program in the main hall, the Digital Future Science Match 2019 offers participants the opportunity to take part in two interactive side events. Both workshops will take place at KOSMOS Berlin as well, so you will be able to easily switch between the main program and the side events. 11:30 am – 1:15 pm: International Perspectives on AI, An Interactive Workshop Hosted by Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung
This side event aims to provide an overview of the various international approaches to AI research, development and application. The international perspective will be fed into this workshop by the members of an international delegation of AI experts, who have been invited to Germany by the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung to share their expertise with German decision-makers from industry and politics as well as high-ranking scientists.
The side event will be organized as a world café. Each table will provide you with the opportunity to discuss a certain topic with five to six other participants. Topics include:

2:30 pm – 4:15 pm How to Implement AI in Your Company, An Interactive Workshop Hosted by Hasso Plattner Institute and _Gemeinsam Digital
The creative power and intelligence of technology lies with the application developer. In teams of up to five members you will use different types of AI applied in current business contexts and learn how to ensure that your effort is perceived by users as an added value when it comes to their service experience. In addition, you will understand how AI could be implemented in your own business context, but also determine the limits of the application of AI in your company.
