Dr. Maria Lorena Dini Pou del Castillo

Dr. Lorena Dini is a Principal Investigator at the Institute of General Practice, Charité Universitätsmedizin Berlin (Prof. C. Heintze). Her research aimes at informing decision makers on the uptake of health care reforms in general practice, including evaluation of programs/interventions. Since 2013 one of her main project with IT-Partners has been building the Web 2.0 Platform for General Practitioners KOLEGEA (http://www.kolegea-plus.de/).

After graduating as a medical doctor (Uruguay) and specializing in Energy Management (USA), she came for her postgraduate education to Europe and studied in Germany (Charité Universitätsmedizin Berlin), Sweden (Karolinska Institute Stockholm) and Norway (University of Bergen). She obtained the degrees Doctor in Medicine, Master of Science in International Health and the Certificate Health Care Manager.

Dr. Dini travels internationally and has been a speaker in USA, Italy, Uruguay, India and Japan. As her schedule permits, she allocates a few slots a month for private consultations in Berlin Mitte, where she coaches in Energymanangement for Crisis Resolution, Life-Work Balance, Revitalization, Health Generation and Personal Development. She is the producer and interpret of the German Version of the JustBEfree Meditation CD, an 18 minutes strategy to help manage stress, realease pentup-emotions. Her clients include Business Associations, Medical Associations and international people from different backgrounds. Since 2015, she is teaching: Stressmanagement for medical Students at the Charité as part of the new teaching curriculum (Modelstudiengang 2.0).
