Dr. Claudia Brockmann

Claudia Brockmann, M.D., does her final year of ophthalmology residency training at Charité ‑ Universitätsmedizin Berlin, Germany. She is involved in clinical and experimental research projects covering retinal vascular diseases, in particular age‑related macular degeneration and retinopathy of prematurity, as well as in animal models of hereditary retinal dystrophies. Her works have been published in leading peer‑reviewed journals and presented at international conferences. Since 2014 she is participant in the BIH‑Charité Clinician Scientist Program funded by the Charité ‑ Universitätsmedizin Berlin and the Berlin Institute of Health.
At "Future Medicine" she will talk about "Animal Models to Investigate Retinal Vascular Diseases".
