Dr. Vida Farsam

Max Delbrück Center for Molecular Medicine (MDC)

Vida Farsam joined the Max Delbrück Center Cell Engineering Lab - MDCell - in May 2017 to follow her ambition to translate early research findings to applications and therapies for patients. In the MDCell Vida is exploring the potential of a novel Sleeping Beauty transposon system for the stable genetic modification of cells. In particular she is interested in engineering immune cells to make them fight cancer. The MDCell offers a platform to perform pre-clinical and clinical cooperation projects using the Sleeping Beauty cell engineering system or to generate gene-engineered cells for academic and industry customers. Her Future Medicine talk is entitled "MDCell - The Cell Engineering Lab".

At Future Medicine 2017 she will talk about "MDCell - The Cell Engineering Lab".
