Technical University of Applied Sciences Wildau / University of Rome
Thilo Liebscher is a PhD candidate in Industrial Engineering at the Technical University Wildau as well as the University of Rome “Tor Vergata” since 2014. He is working in the lab of Prof. Dr. Andreas Foitzik and is co-advised by Prof. Dr. Maria Di Vona as well as Prof. Dr. Fabio de Matteis at the University of Rome “Tor Vergata”. His work focuses on the integration of online sensors into miniaturised cell culture for constant monitoring of different vitality parameters such as pH-value, glucose concentration or temperature. Furthermore, he investigates optimal fluid structures for miniaturised cell culture by using Computational Fluid Dynamics. The integration of online sensors in fluidic optimised cell culture systems offers broad opportunities to enhance cell vitality monitoring capabilities in the future.
At Future Medicine 2017 he will talk about “Online Cell Vitality Monitoring in Miniaturised Cell Culture”
