Dr. Frederik Damm

Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin

Since June 2015, Frederik Damm is a young research group leader at the molecular cancer center (MKFZ) at the Charité with a focus on genetics driving the initiation of leukemogenesis. His primary research interest are molecular alterations, their clonal composition and hierarchies, dynamic evolution and their functional role as potential treatment targets. In particular, his team characterizes early steps of leukemo- and lymphomagenesis and investigates differences between normal and preleukemic stem cells.

At Future Medicine 2017 he will talk about “Clonal hematopoiesis: where are we in 2017?”
